Spring Blossom Tree

Earlier this week I was walking into school, the birds were chirping, the sun was shining, and it even kind of smelled like spring. That was the inspiration for this painting.

I kept saying I was going to do something with dots--well, here it is!!! you can see elements of some of my other works in this one. I like experimenting.

Different Style

I tried a different style (more modern, art deco--I guess) and used a little texture with this one. It coordinates wonderfully in my living room. It is a large painting. It looks simple, but it took foreeeevvveerrrr!

Addition to Bouquet Series

This painting is called, "Freshly Picked." It is another in my "Bouquet" series. I decided to experiment with some different color combos. I've gotten lots of compliments on this one.

Playful Kitten

Another in my "Flowers of the Day" collection. It is called, "Playful Kitten." This one would be great for someone who loves kittens. It would look very nice in a blue room.

Red at Dusk

This is another in the series "Flowers of the Day." It is called, "Red at Dusk." It is a small 8 x 10. I love the evening sky!

Blue at Dawn

I decided to try my skills with some dry brushing. This is one in a series called, "Flowers of the Day." I like the way this one turned out. Hubby says it is his favorite because he loves the vibrant colors.

Jester Vase

This was my first flower bouquet. It is called "Jester Vase" and is part of my "Bouquet" series. My hubby said we won't need to plant any flowers for the summer if I contiune to paint flowers--I love flowers and these last forever!
